Side x Side

This collaboration project between George Davis and I started in 2018. First, as a photography x poetry collection. I gave George four of my favorite photos I made and he wrote a poem inspired by each of the photos. And thats where it ended.

Working together to elevate the story each told. 

After we put out the photo/poetry series we kept coming back saying this still feels unfinished, there’s more to this. We wanted to push this idea and this series even further. A more visual and more sensory take on our initial images above.

So we took it a step further. Turning George’s poetry and my photographs into short films. The continued metamorphosis of this idea. 

A series, at its heart, that is two people working together to create something bigger and better than what could have ever been done alone.
Two people working together doing what they love. Showcasing and pushing humanity forward.
